For many people, there is not enough room in the mouth for the wisdom teeth to erupt straight, hence they can erupt either partially or not at all (impacted). Depending on the location and angulation of these wisdom teeth, your dentist may recommend extraction to reduce the risk of damage to adjacent teeth and tissue

At Smile Centre we run a fortnightly IV sedation clinic, so if it is recommended for the wisdom teeth to be extracted, it can be performed under twilight sedation to make the process as relaxed and easy as possible.
