Night guard

A night guard implements a defensive barrier between the upper and lower jaw, cushioning the impact of clenching. Wearing a night guard is the most effective way to protect your teeth. A night guard is a mouth piece that is worn on the top teeth during your sleep to help with grinding and clenching. The guard acts as a shield between your top and bottom teeth, which helps prevent chipping and wearing of your teeth and strain to your jaw muscles.

At Smile Centre, we use our CEREC machine to take a customised scan of your teeth which then creates a moulded guard to fit over the upper or lower teeth.
